Welcome! Stat-Xplore is an Open Data Platform (ODP) that is designed for users like you to explore the many different benefit datasets that the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) offers. This user guide explains everything you need to know to get the most out of Stat-Xplore. To start, please feel free to browse the sections on the left and pick the topic that is relevant to you. If this happens, don’t worry as your account should automatically unlock itself after 20 minutes of inactivity. Stat-Xplore was created because it offers a fully self-service platform for interactive data dissemination and empowers users to ask any questions of the data rather than being limited to what DWP decide is relevant. Stat-Xplore is excellent in that it has robust security features for confidentiality and privacy protection. Given that Government bodies typically hold sensitive data on very vulnerable individuals, Stat-Xplore enables these bodies to share sensitive data in a safe way without compromising the privacy of their customers.
