Description

Age-band of the youngest child in the family, as reported by FRS respondents, where:

• a child is defined as an individual aged under 16 or 16-19 and dependant (see Type of Individual by Age Category for more information).
• a family is defined as a single adult or a married or cohabiting couple and any dependent children (see Family Type for more information).

• No children in the family.

• 5-10
• 11-15
• 16-19

Quality Statement

The age-bands maintain data confidentiality and ensure sample sizes are not too small to prevent useful analysis.
