How Stat-Xplore uses and collects information

Stat-Xplore uses administrative data and management information, collected and held by the Department for Work and Pensions for statistical purposes, to produce customised summary statistics.

To ensure that Stat-Xplore does not produce statistics that are likely to identify an individual all tabulations and visualisations are disclosure controlled.

This disclosure control also ensures that Stat-Xplore accords to the Code of Practice for Office Statistics and the supporting guidance ‘National Statistician’s Guidance: Confidentiality of Official Statistics’.
