Description

This marker, referred to as 'Move to UC', applies to the managed migration aspect of DWP's strategy for moving claimants from legacy benefits to UC. This has three tracks - natural, voluntary, and managed. Claimants who are part of the managed migration receive migration notices, informing them that they need to move to UC by a specified date.

An individual on Universal Credit at the count date will be recorded as a 'Move to UC' claimant if they previously received a migration notice and claimed UC as part of the Move to UC process.
