Dataset: NINo Registrations To Adult Overseas Nationals Entering The UK
Description
For Overseas NINO registration data, Quarter of Registration can be aggregated into Financial Year (1st April to 31st March). The Quarters comprising of this aggregated "rolling year" are as follows:
1st April to 30th June
1st July to 30th September
1st October to 31st December
1st January to 31st March
So for example, the 2019/20 Rolling year end March comprises of the registrations from 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020.
Classification
The series omits the initial quarter of January 2002 to March 2002, and then comprises of each financial year from 2002/03 onwards to the latest published year.
This field will only be available on the Dataset if the latest full rolling year corresponds with the month of the latest quarterly data.
Quality Statement
Figures are based on recorded registration date on the HMRC National Insurance Recording and Pay as you Earn System, i.e. after the NINo application process has been completed. This may be a number of weeks or months (or in some cases years) after arriving in the UK
