Description

The income received by the household from disability benefits in year prices (weekly, in nominal terms), as reported by FRS respondents, where:

• A household consists of one person living alone or a group of people (not necessarily related) living at the same address, who share cooking facilities and share a living room or sitting room or dining area. A household will consist of one or more benefit units.
• 'Disability-related benefits' is the term used to describe all benefits paid on the grounds of disability. These are:
• Personal Independence Payment - Daily Living
• Personal Independence Payment - Mobility
• Disability Living Allowance - Self Care
• Disability Living Allowance - Mobility
• Severe Disablement Allowance
• Attendance Allowance
• War Disablement Pension/Armed Forces Compensation Scheme
• Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
• Adult Disability Payment
• Child Disability Payment
• Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme
